Project Details
Francis and Rasheeda needed to give their pool deck a fresh new look before their annual New Year’s Eve Party. The original pool fence was manufactured using pressure treated pine. Over time it began to decay and rot. After close inspection we determined that the 4×4 posts were still in good condition. We suggested re-coating the the posts with an oil-based paint and replace the cross-members using Spanish Cedar Wood since it was a light weight durable exotic wood. Even though we had limited time to complete the job, we were still able to disassemble the old pool fence, mill the Spanish Cedar Wood and reassemble the new pool fence in three business days. Each piece of Spanish Cedar Wood was hand selected to ensure its quality and consistency in grain. We used coated deck screws to fasten the Cedar Wood pool fence. As a final touch we added some post caps with built-in solar powered LED lights. The lights now give a rich illumination to their pool deck area at night. In our honest opinion, this Spanish Cedar project turned out beautiful and should last twice as long than the original assembly. We guarantee it!
