Custom Teak Table Tops Made to Fit
Rather than replacing the tables entirely, she wanted to transform the existing concrete bases with beautiful, natural teak tops that would complement her outdoor living space.
Every outdoor space is different, and standard-size table tops don’t always work. For this project, our client’s existing concrete tables had specific dimensions, so we created the teak tops to custom fit the round tables perfectly.
We used FEQ (First European Quality) teak hardwood, a premium grade of teak known for its beautiful grain, natural durability, and suitability for outdoor applications.
The teak boards were carefully selected and glued up to create the large round table tops. This process allows us to create a substantial, solid teak surface while maintaining the natural beauty and character of the wood.
Sealed with a Non-Toxic, Petroleum-Free Oil
Because these tables were designed for an outdoor environment, protecting the teak was an important part of the project.
Once the custom round tops were completed, they were sealed with a non-toxic, petroleum-free oil. The finish helps protect and condition the wood while allowing the natural beauty and grain of the teak to remain visible.
The result is a warm, natural-looking table surface that pairs beautifully with the existing concrete bases.
A Returning Carib Teak Customer
One of the most rewarding parts of custom furniture is developing relationships with our customers over time.
We’ve had the opportunity to work with this Palm Beach Gardens homeowner on several teak projects throughout her home, and we were delighted when she returned to us with another custom project.
Her familiarity with our craftsmanship and our ability to work with her specific ideas made this project a natural fit for Carib Teak.
Why Choose Custom Teak?
Custom teak furniture gives you the flexibility to create something specifically for your space. Instead of searching endlessly for a standard piece that almost works, you can have a piece made to your exact dimensions and specifications.
For outdoor spaces, teak is especially appealing because of its natural durability and timeless appearance. Whether you’re starting with a new outdoor furniture design or, like our Palm Beach Gardens client, looking to upgrade existing concrete table bases, a custom teak top can completely transform the look of a space.
